Distance: 44kms/27mi (Roundtrip)                     Difficulty: High     Place: Rio Serrano Village to Laguna Verde

It is a very entertaining ride that provides excellent views of many attractions of the Torres del Paine National Park. This ride is a technically and physically demanding adventure. Our journey begins in Villa Serrano.

We cross the pampa that surrounds the Serrano River until we reach the Administration sector of the National Park; to continue towards the Paine River. After crossing the Webber Bridge, we will gradually begin to gain altitude. The pace here becomes a little slower, as we enter a mountain path, quite technical; going up the Toro Lake sector.

In the first part of this ride you will have a fascinating view of the mighty Paine River and the immense Toro Lake (the largest lake in the province). Once we get around a mountain area where the path is not only technical but also very steep; we began to alternate between walking and jogging through a terrain that stabilizes in height and that crosses different small lagoons; such as Laguna Los Ciervos, Laguna Honda, to finally reach Laguna Verde, in the area adjacent to Estancia Lazo.

Here we will leave the horses to rest for a while, while we walk the sector to take pictures and enjoy our box lunch and a well-deserved relaxation. After approximatelly 45 minutes we will be ready to return to Villa Serrano, along the same path.

We will intersperse moments of walking, trotting and galloping. We will ride both flat and open trails, as well as some rocky and steep areas; besides being on the saddle for about 7 hours; Therefore, previous experience and a state of health accustomed to the practice of some physical activity is required.

If you are interested in doing this ride, it is convenient that you confirm with us its availability; Since to access this trail we have to consult the National Park Administration about its status, because it has an area that is quite steep and that during rainy seasons the passage of mounted horses is not allowed.
